Christina Turner

Co-Education Coordinator & Goldsmith Artist in Residence

Christina Turner is a Columbus, OH based professional singer, actress, and twelve-year performing arts educator. Christina received a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Performance from Central State University in Wilberforce, OH, in which she toured abroad performing in countries such as Germany, Austria, and China. Thereafter, Christina developed experience as a performing arts educator in private schools and eventually transitioned to becoming a music teacher in CCS. For over a decade, she’s motivated and nurtured young artists' gifts and talents and furthered her skills working in the community for organizations such as Columbus Children's Theatre and Lincoln Theatre. Her artistic excellence was recognized in 2022, as she became a nominated actress for two drama awards, and won both. Christina is currently the Education Coordinator & Goldsmith Artist in Residence at Columbus Children's Theatre. Her purpose is to teach/inspire others to reach their fullest potential in creative exploration, expression, and authenticity.
